Leora and Daniel's Seven Species Chuppah

Leora and Daniel have spent a lot of time on an organic farm in Israel. Their chuppah depicts the seven biblical crops mentioned in Devarim (Deuteronomy), along with the words for joy and happiness from the wedding ceremony's Seven Blessings. This chuppah was made using batik. The words at the bottom read, "A land of wheat, barley, grape, fig, and pomegranate, a land of olives and honey," and from the Seven Blessings, "Let the loving couple be happy, just as You made Your creations
happy in the garden of Eden.
"At such an overwhelming event, the details made me happy: our gorgeous handmade chuppah, my mother's wedding dress... We were surrounded by family and friends and it was a joyous
event, 100% us. Nahanni's amazing chuppah made us feel right at home
under its beautiful canopy, representing our shared home." --Leora
